Have you ever had a lousy day?...
...only to realize later that everything "lousy" was just a setup for something good to happen?
I'm working on a book of stories and articles on experiences that look bad and turn out to really be good. Kind of a combination of Chicken Soup and When Bad Things Happen to Good People. Only this is "When good things look bad."
It's a little like the Talmudic expression "Gam zu letova--This too is for the good." But I want to show that this attitude is more than just pious sufferance or resignation. It's the revelation that we only see the surface of the picture. And the picture is really 3-D.
